Decorating lids of jars with paper

I got this idea from this site http://www.designsponge.com/.   I used a recycled jar.  I took my pizza sauce jar and washed and removed the label.  I put puff balls in this jar to store.

What you need: jar, paper, pencil, scissors, mod podge(mp), and clear coat.

What to do: trace lid on paper and then trace out more to be able to fold over lid edges.  Put mp on lid add paper.  Now cut the paper into strips.  Then take mp and add with paint brush to each strip of paper and fold over the edge of the lid. Also put mp on top of lid.  Let dry and then spray with clear coat and let that dry.  You can try bleach to get the food smell out if you use a recycled jar like I did.
