I found the idea for our cinco de mayo craft here http://crafts.kaboose.com/mini-sombrero.html. I wanted to make something with my son for the Mexican Holiday coming up, it also happens to be my birthday! I got this craft from a post I did a few weeks back giving a list of links with cinco de mayo crafts.... I chose one of the simplest ones I could find. We have been out of town and simple and fast sounds good to me. Here is what we did.
What you need:
small paper plate, and small paper cup(I had both of these from my son's bday party a few wks ago), pom poms, glue, and string, pipe cleaner, ribbon, or yarn.
What to do:
take cup and glue to plate. (if you do not have matching colors or want to change the color of paper goods you can paint them) Add some yarn or pipe cleaners around cup. Then take and glue pom poms around plate.
Please do come and visit us again. We would love to have you back.
All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
