With Teach Appreciation Day coming up I set out to make something for my sons teachers. I came across a few sources of inspiration and came up with a strawberry basket with these adorable printables from Eighteen 25 I had the perfect gift for them.
Loved this idea of strawberry baskets for the teacher's from The Baeza Blog. This blog had real strawberries.
I found another blog that had really cute labels to use with a strawberry themed basket. This blog used strawberry type items in the basket. Free printable labels here at Eighteen 25.
What I used:
free printable from Eighteen 25, baskets (I got these 2 baskets together at the dollar tree for a dollar), and yarn.
What I did:
take labels and cute them out. Use a hole punch to make a hole and then tie on to basket with label. Last I need to add strawberries but we will wait to see if I get that done. If not I will be set for next years teacher appreciation week!
My son's school does take up a monetary donation for the teachers and we did participate, so don't think that we didn't do something nicer for them. ( but this is a nice gift on its own:-) They are great teacher's that take care of him while he is there.
Will come back and update if I get them done. However, I did want to go ahead and post this in case you needed another idea.
UPDATE: I GOT THE BASKETS FILLED, HERE IS HOW THEY CAME OUT.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
