I love trying new sensory bins. They are fun to set up and the kids usually enjoy them. A great way for the kids to enjoy open ended play. Each sensory bin has so many learning possibilities. With Fall in the air it was time for a Fall sensory bin.
What I used:
pumpkin spice sensory rice, little pumpkins and pine cones I got in a box together at Walmart. I also got fabric leaves at Walmart and added those too. Large bin to put it all in. The one I used I got at The Dollar Tree.
What to do:
put it all together and set it out for the kids. My son asked for a spoon, bowl, plate, and trucks:-)
I just loved the colors together and the smell was yummy too. This is a great sensory bin to go over the color orange with. It is also a great way to explore scent. And perfect for talking about the seasons.
He was happy to have a new bin to play in.
He had fun scooping and pouring, great for fine motor skills. He also had fun playing with his trucks driving through the rice. There are so many options for play with this one bin. What would you and your family do?

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
