Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tail (FSPDT): Sugar Cookie Rice Play Recipe

We love finding cheap and easy play recipes at my house. With the holidays coming up I have been thinking of all the scents that make me think of Christmas and winter. Sugar cookies quickly come to mind. Growing up, my mom was always in the kitchen baking cookies during the holidays. We often got to help her out in the kitchen and it was always a fun time. Lots of great memories. I can not think holiday scents and not think about cookies! So when it came time for me to make a new sensory rice recipe, I knew it would have to be sugar cookie.

Sugar Cookie Rice Play Recipe

What I used:

Rice, sugar cookie scent, sprinkles and bowl.

What to do:

I added rice to bowl then sprinkled in the scent. Since I did not have to add water the scent dries very fast on the rice. So in 30 minutes it is ready for play. Adding sprinkles is optional.
