Initial Wreath for Front Door Makeover

Looking for a simple yet cute way to make over  the front door?  I was and making this easy wreath and number plaque was my way of doing that.  Sprucing up the front door can add curb appeal to your home as well.

Initial Wreath for Front Door Makeover

What I used to make the wreath:

I purchased all my supplies from Walmart.

Twig wreath

foam letter

spray paint

burlap ribbon

hot glue gun

What I did:

I started out by spray painting my foam letter to match the project.  This step can be skipped if you find a letter you like as is.  I wanted a cream letter and could not find one.  My solution was to spray paint it.  After spraying I left to dry about an hour.

I came back in to cut the burlap ribbon and tie into a bow. I then cut an extra piece to add the letter hanging from the wreath.

I used the hot glue gun to glue on the letter and burlap ribbon to the wreath.  Once done, I hung it up and added the number plaque I also made.  Now the front door had been transformed.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
