Today I am sharing a Paper Plate Cherry Blossom Tree. This one I think is perfect for young kids. Easy to make and a lot of fun too. Any time my toddler can get the glue out it is a good day to him.
What we used:
paper plates
pink and brown construction paper
Sugar Cookie Glue for extra fun - see recipe here
white pom poms (thanks for the pom poms craftprojectideas)
What to do:
Tear up pink paper. This is great for the kids to work on their fine motor skills. I cut a piece of brown paper out for our trunk. My son then got to go crazy with the glue on the paper plate. He then added his torn paper to the plate. And last, he added a few white pom poms to his tree top. Then I helped him glue the brown paper trunk onto his tree top.
Simple yet fun cherry tree craft for young kids. This is the 4th cherry tree craft we tried. This final one is my favorite. Check back to see if you agree.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
