I needed a quick game and gift idea for a holiday dinner party. I always love the classic "guess how many in the jar" games. It is even better when the prize is the jar full of yummy treats. I chose to put together a guess how many jar for the dinner. This was a last minute idea so I had to work fast.

candy corn but this can be substituted for your choice of treat or other fun item to count.
What I did:
I added the tape around the jar and filled with candy. Easy Peasy and now the jar is even cuter than before.
I did have to count the candy before I added it to the jar for our game. I sat a piece of paper out and a pen with the jar. Everyone wrote their name and number they guessed on the sheet as they came in. At the end of the meal I came back and picked the winner.
The winner got to go home with a cute jar and the treats! Everyone now wants one of these jars. They will have to wait till the next dinner party for a chance to win one.
These could be great gift ideas for teachers, mothers, birthdays... I love that the jar can be reused.
