I could not wait to open up this book. The kids and I started flipping through the pages and we quickly found a few activities that we just had to try. The PVC Tube Play Wall was at the top of my list to make for them. I had a few ideas on how we could play with it and felt it was something that we would use over and over again. I also liked that I could set this activity wall up for all my children ages 1yr, 3yr, and 5yr. All of them would love it and it would keep them busy too.
You can get the entire book here on amazon:
What we used:
PVC connectors
drill
suction cups
How to make:
For me, ask your husband to make it for you, ha. He was a sport and took me to the store to buy all the items I needed and drilled the holes in the PVC pipes. I helped by putting the suction cups through the holes. Now it was playtime.
How to set up:
I love that this wall can be what you want and have as many or as few pieces as you want. I bought several PVC connector pieces since I have 3 kids. I wanted them all to be able to have a few pieces to play with if needed.
Since baby brother, 1yr, was the only one home this morning I set the activity up just for him.
I placed all the connectors on the glass door. I choose the door because he could reach it standing on the floor. I then put a bowl of pom poms out for him to drop through the tubes/connectors.
He was one excited little boy when he saw this set up! He often plays with pom poms by themselves so having the play wall to go with them was a major plus.
And he was off. Dropping pom poms through the tubes and picking them up. Running after them as they scattered across the floor.
This is great for both fine and gross motor skills for the kids.
This picture was just too cute not to share. It also shows just how much fun he was having with his PVC Tube Play Wall.
Can not wait to try even more of these awesome kid activities in the future! This book is a must own in my opinion.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
