We have been enjoying some new, and fun to us, apple snacks.  I had dreams of baking apple pie and apple bread but so far all the treats have been non-baked.  At least we are enjoying our apples and finding new ways to enjoy them.  The classic Apple Teeth Snack is what we tried today.  The kids were not sure at first but they ended up gobbling them all up and asking for more!

What I used:

apple

tiny marshmallows

peanut butter

What I did:

I cut up the apple into slices.  I then added peanut butter to one apple and then added marshmallows. I sat that half down.  I took another apple slice and added peanut butter to it and placed it on top of the bottom half. Now we made apple teeth.

I did find it hard to keep the apples from falling apart.  Once you sit them down they start to slide.  I had to put another slice of apple behind it to hold it up.  It worked for us.  I'm sure there is a better solution out there but we had fun and enjoyed our treat anyways.

He was not sure at first but once they ventured out to try them they kept wanting more.  We hope you can enjoy these fun apple treats too.  They could be fun for a Halloween party or gathering.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing.
