I spy jar and bag

I Spy/Sensory Jars

Pictures of what we put inside our jar and bag.  Take a picture so you can know what to look for later. 

What you need: 

a jar and a pencil bag( we got ours at walmart in the markers and crayons section for 97cents), small items to put in bag, filler( rice, birdseed....), hot glue gun, and camera.

What we did:

Big brother really enjoyed filling the jar and bag.  Little brother watched.  After putting all the little items in the jar we put birdseed in as the filler.  Leave a little room at the top so you can shake it up.  Put the lid on and hot glue together.  After putting all the little items in the bag we added rice and then I hot glued the zipper together on it.  Now see what you can spy!

Both my boys really enjoy these.  Big brother looks to see what's in side but Little brother just loves the noise of the jar and feel of the bag.  Always love when we do a project both my boys can enjoy.

The I spy bag idea I got from a great Blog.  The I spy jar I have seen done on so many sites.  I just took different ideas from all and made it our own.
