Today we made a snail out of a paper plate. This is such a cute craft. I found it on Preschool Crafts for Kids. This was fun for my son to make. Great fine motor skills practice and color recognition too.
What we used:
a paper plate, construction paper, glue, wobbly eye. Ahead of time I cut a bunch of square's out of construction paper and put it in a Ziploc bag, then I cut out the snails body.
What we did:
Then I called big brother to the table. He got to put glue on the back of the plate to press the body of the snail down.
We then turned it over and put glue all over the plate area. He then picked out pieces of paper from the bag to put down on the glue. Then last to add the eye. Ta da! You have a cute little snail.
One proud little boy of his creation. It is now hanging on the wall above his play kitchen.
