Toddler activity- muffin pan and plastic eggs!

My youngest is 11 months old (real close to 1yrs with a bday coming up) and I am always looking for ways to entertain him.  Today he pulled a muffin tin out of my cabinet.  My oldest had one awhile back he used to play with koolaid playdough we made. So I was thinking of what to give my son to play with in his muffin tin.  We recently put a bunch of Easter eggs in an old plastic wipe box.  So I got that out.  I put some of the eggs in the muffin tin.  Little brother then went to playing with the eggs and muffin tin.  This entertained him for about 15 min.  Which for my son is a lifetime(hehe). 
I was cooking and watching him play in the floor beside me.  He was so fascinated with this, I don't know why.  Maybe because it was new.  The trick will be to see if he will play with it again.  I can say that our wipe box filled with Easter eggs has been played with more than once.  My oldest also enjoys getting them out.
