What you need:
vinegar, food coloring, baking soda, small bowls, pan or tray, paper towels(this does get messy) and droppers.
What I did:
put baking soda in pie dish so that it covered the bottom, got out 3 small bowls filled with vinegar and then my son helped add food coloring. I put some baking soda in a small bowl and had a small spoon. Also got out a tray for him. I then let him use the droppers to put the vinegar over the baking soda. He thought it was neat to see how it fizzed!
FIZZY FUN!!!!!
He also loved putting baking soda in the bowl of vinegar and watching it fizz. He may have had more fun putting his hands in this and feeling the fizzing mixture. He kept telling me "this feels cool mommy."
All smiles:-)
We tried the tray but he didn't care for it so he went back to his pie dish.
This only took up about 30 minutes of our afternoon but he had so much fun doing it, I would say it was a huge success. Hope you can have fun with this too!!!
Please do come and visit us again. We would love to have you back.
All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
