Fine Motor Skills St. Patrick's Day Clover Craft
{for toddlers & preschoolers}
Having a 4yr and 1.5 yr it is great when I can find something for them both to do together. This craft was perfect for them to do together. It is no secret we love torn paper crafts for little brother and scissor skills for big brother. So with St. Patrick's Day approaching it was time to do just that. I chose a clover or shamrock theme for them this time. It is great to be able to have a craft for them both to do together. It is also great that they are working on their fine motor skills in the process.
What we used: white cardstock, green construction paper, green marker, glue, & safety scissors(big brother).
What we did: I traced a clover out on the cardstock with a marker. I then got out the remaining supplies. I called the kids in to get started. Little brother tore his paper up and big brother cut his paper into pieces. Once they were done they got out the glue. They squeezed glue over their clovers and then applied the green paper to it. We then let the glue dry the rest of the day. A simple St. Patrick's Day craft that is fun and great for all ages(toddler, preschooler +). The kids even work on their fine motor skills while creating their craft.
