Excited to be taking part in 20 Days of Kid Made Christmas Ornaments hosted by Mama Miss. Head over to her page to keep up with all the amazing kid made ornaments shared in this series.
I love crafting with the kids and luckily they enjoy it too. It is just one of the many things we do throughout the week to keep busy. I have come to enjoy crafting one on one with them at times. For these Plastic Lid Sequins Ornaments I got to enjoy some time with just big brother. We really enjoyed how they turned out and he was so excited to hang them on the tree.
Happy to be a part of :
What we used:
The plastic drink lids from kids cups at restaurants. These are perfect because they already have a hole for the ribbon Lids of jars will work too but you just have to hot glue ribbon to the back of the lid. DIY glitter glue, sequins (we got ours in a goody box craftprojectideas.com mailed us for free) but you can buy them at walmart. Last find some ribbon, yarn, string...
What we did:
Gathered all the supplies together before calling big brother in.
I sat out the plastic lids on paper towel. We used green and purple glitter glue. We applied the glue to the plastic lid. Then sprinkled the sequins all over. Now all we have to do is wait for them to dry.
I just liked all the sequins. We are going to have a fun tree this year with all the kid made ornaments we have been making over here. I can't wait. I am trying to enjoy all these memories with the little kids that I can because I know they will be gone before I know it.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
