Having a Mexican Grandmother or abuelita, I try to find simple ways of sharing her culture with my children. The Day of the Dead (or Dia de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday to pray and remember loved ones lost. To talk about this holiday with my young kids I created Sugar Skull (or calaveras de azĂșcar) Coloring Pages for them to color. While coloring them I could tell them a little about the holiday and why it is important to us. To pass down culture from our Abuela and to remember our loved ones that have gone before us.

I love these awesome coloring pages. We just attended a Dia de los Muertos event and I will have our kids color these to extend the learning! I also linked to this post in my post about the event. Thank you so much!
