Fall Sensory Table

I love our "water" table we bought for my first son a few years ago.  We since turned this table into our sensory table.  We use it to explore all types of textures and fun!  With the new season I thought it would be fun to make a fall table for them.  The boys love this fall sensory table. 

                          

What I did for their fall table:

 I took bird seed and sunflower seeds and added them to the table.  Then I added a few fall extras we had laying around the house ( pumpkins, leaves, pine cones).  We also added a few bowls and shovels.

We have been out playing in our table several times.  It is a bit messy.  My youngest has a lot of fun throwing the seed all over the porch.  My oldest doesn't make a mess with it, he has lots of fun scooping and dumping his seed in the table.  You could also play with this in the yard and the bird seed throwing would not be an issue.  We had most of our yard dug up for some home repairs and have not been off the porch lately.  On the porch or in the yard this is a lot of fun for the kids and simple to put together for the parents. We hope you may have some fun with this too.
