Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tail (FSPDT): Marshmallow Squares {An Easter Treat}

Marshmallow Squares {An Easter Treat}

Pin It

I am a lover of Pinterest and while quickly scanning what my friends had been pinning I saw a marshmallow and chocolate Easter treat picture that looked good.  I made a internal note and went on.  Well, today while looking through what I had on hand to make Easter treats for my sons teachers, I saw white bark chocolate and marshmallows in the pantry.  I thought about that pin and decided to try it.  I made it on my own and later went back to find the source to share with you as my inspiration for making it. Here at Keyingredient is my inspiration with  Easter Marshmallow Bark.  I was unsure how it would turn out but was pleasantly surprised when we were done.

We call them Marshmallow Squares and give them 2 thumbs up.

What I used
 Marshmallow Squares {An Easter Treat}

1 bag fruit flavor mini marshmallows

1 package of white chocolate bark

Easter sprinkles

wax paper, pan, mixing bowl, plastic spoon, pam spray

What we did

 Marshmallow Squares {An Easter Treat}

I melted the white bark(it had its own melting tray) in the microwave for a minute and then checked.  I added 30 more seconds.  I sprayed my bowl with cooking spray.  I had little brother pour the marshmallows in the bowl.  I poured the chocolate over it.  Both kids added some sprinkles.  Then we all took a turn mixing.  You want to do this quick so the chocolate does not harden.  Once mixed, I poured on my pan covered with wax paper.  I spread it out a little and added more sprinkles.  I left it out to harden.  A few hours later I came back and cut into squares and put down into bags to give out as gifts.

We always have fun making treats in the kitchen.  We have even more fun tasting them. My boys love marshmallows and really enjoyed making this treat and getting to eat a few.

Please do come and visit us again. We would love to have you back.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
