This post is brought to you by Little Blast but all opinions are 100% mine.
We were so excited to receive our Little Blast Science Kit in the mail! Little Blast, what is this you might ask? Little Blast is a monthly themed science kit you can have sent directly to your house. It is geared toward kids ages 3yr- 7yr. Everything you need for multiple experiments on one topic. Little Blast was founded by moms Jen and Victoria, a teacher and an engineer. They love introducing their kids to simple science just as much as we do here on FSPDT.
This month's Little Blast Kit theme is all about RAMPS! We could not wait to dive in and see what fun we would have with our kit.
This kit comes with everything. They have little note cards with the directions for each experiment as well as the supplies for each experiment. They have the cards for recording each experiments results on as well. They even give you a pencil to write your notes with. Awesome!
We are sharing with you the Will It Go Down (ramp) Experiment.
What we used from the kit for "Does It Go Down?" experiment:
Direction Card
Stack of Books (these were ours)
Front flap of kit box cut off (my husband cut this off for us)
The record sheet to keep up with our findings
And the foam square and cotton ball given for the experiment
The kids also grabbed a few extra items to test.
I read the directions and explained to my boys 3yr and 5.5yr what we were going to do. We are watching as gravity (a force we can not see) pulls objects down to the ground. They could not wait to start sending items down the ramp.
We stacked our books about 6 inches high. Then we placed the "ramp" on the books.
I can see my kids getting the Little Blast Ramp Kit out again and testing more objects down the ramp. Little Blast Science Kit is a great hands on way to learn and fun too. I love that everything you need is all included. I also love that the kids can learn more than one thing from this blast!
The Little Blast Science Kit even includes more fun experiments. To get a chance to try all the fun activities out, enter to win your own FREE Little Blast Ramps Kit!! Just click the Rafflecopter link below.
