My oldest son created a Lion craft and when my tot saw it he wanted to make his own. I did not have the same supplies out for him to make one but we came up with this fun Octopus Craft instead. He loved it and was now ok with not having a lion.
cut up foam sheets- mutli colored
cardboard box cut up
glue
googly eyes and a marker
I made enough for both older boys to make one but only my 3yr completed his. Maybe big brother will do his another day.
I traced a circle for the octopus body. My son filled it with glue and added the little pieces of foam to it. Once filled in he added glue and the foam strips for the legs.
Last he added the googly eyes and I drew on a smile. Now he had his own Octopus creation.
