Dose anyone else have a busy toddler? I tell you we can go through several activities before breakfast some days. Needless to say some of these activities last for a few minutes before he gets bored or changes his mind then on to the next thing. I love when I can find simple yet fun activities to keep my toddler busy for more than a second. Here are 10 Activities for toddlers to help keep them busy. These are a few of my child's favorite activities.
DIY Fine Motor Skills Activity- great to keep the kids busy
Sensory Bottles- great for working on fine motor skills also.
Artwork T-shirt- do you have a few stained up shirts too. Let the kids create their own artwork on those shirts and wear them for playtime.
Dino Drop~ fine motor skills- busy activity for the kids.
Ball and Bean Bag Toss- great for gross motor skills and perfect to keep the little ones entertained while you wash dishes or put up clothes.
Milk Science Experiment~fun for young kids too
Playdough Potato Heads- this is a favorite go to activity at my house, Playdough. Add a few potato head pieces and make it even more exciting for the kids.
Animal Color Pages for Kids- coloring pages are always fun.
Do you have a pirate or a sea captain at your house. Let them go on a treasure hunt inside. Hide and seek for coins is a fun way to pass the time.
Rainbow Finger Bath Paint- fun in the tub.
Pretend Play with Foam and Paper Pizza- easy to make play food for kids.
Toddler Friendly Sensory Sink- set them up with a sensory sink and let them have tons of fun exploring and learning through play.
Gummy Bear Science- perfect for young kids
Rainbow Clean Mud- ultimate sensory play for kids.
DIY Piggy Banks- also great for fine motor skills
Butterfly Color and Number Walk ~ gross motor skills- great way to get them moving and learning.
Banana Bites- adding a little extra fun to snack time is always a hit at my house.
DIY Water Wall- kids activity for summer
